These are the rules for the Underground. The Underground is a privately owned
place, and consists of everything behind the north and west doors. Property
behind the other doors is either public or owned by others, and different
rules may apply.

 1. Debates are okay.  Fights are out.
 2. Any topic of discussion is okay.
 3. Public snuggling, or even sex play is permitted.  If you
    cannot deal with that, then please leave.
 4. Being disruptive is not okay.  Play nice or go elsewhere.
 5. Please do NOT lock yourself alone in a room and just idle there!
    There are plenty of quiet places to idle but someone else may
    want the room you're using.  I will sweep anyone I find doing this.
 6. Kindly check all personality conflicts at the door.  If you go
    into the Underground and find someone you don't like, either
    cope or leave.
 7. Most of all, have fun! :)

Apartments currently available in the Underground:

There seems little point in maintaining several lists of available
apartments when there's so many. To see what apartments are open,
just go south and check out the floor you're interested by typing
the number of that floor. Believe me, it's easier for all concerned. :)
This device will allow you to see who is in which rooms. This board only
looks
into public rooms, not private ones. A player whose name is in parentheses is
asleep. Please sweep such players if they are in the room alone. To use the
status board, type 'stats'.
The "lock" program that I use in certain parts of the Underground
(like the private hot tubs and the back rooms of the Inn) is a program
that was specially written for me by a friend. Due to security purposes,
I have to own the program, and the program cannot be used on a room that
I do not own, nor is anyone besides me able to set up locks using this
particular program.

If you wish to own a lock like mine, the best thing to do is talk to a
MUCKer. I'll be glad to let a MUCKer see the text of this program, and
he/she can write you your own copy. Then you'll need a wiz to @chown it
for you.

I'm sorry I can't share this program, but the way it had to be written
makes it impossible. However, with the help of a MUCKer, getting your
own shouldn't be all that difficult.

The Underground Nexus is an official location for calling the Adventurers
R Us for help.  Type 'ring ARU' in the Nexus if you have a problem, any
problem at all, and ARU members will rush to the scene to aid you.
